David Holt is an award-winning musician, historian, television host, teacher and entertainer who learned first-hand from many of the great old-time banjo players. He has won many of the major contests, and is a three-time winner of the Frets Magazine readers poll for "best old-time banjoist." A frequent guest on the Grand Ole Opry and other TV shows, David can also be heard on his own public radio show, in live concerts, and on his Grammy-nominated recordings.
