After you’ve been studying your instrument a while, it becomes important to start playing with other musicians.
Jamming with one or more players can be an incredible learning experience, and is just plain fun. Aside from learning new songs, it forces you to keep good time, consider your tone, provide rhythmic backup and even (when you’re ready) take solos of your own. Regardless of what instrument or style of music you play, you’ll get better faster and get more enjoyment out of your music if you have others to share the experience with.
We have lots of great products that teach you how to jam and give you rhythm back-up for great practice sessions. Get some of these and woodshed before you jump into a "live" jam. You'll be glad you did!
