Homespun owner Happy Traum and some other instructors have started posting "Lick of the Day" lessons on our Facebook page. The idea is to give you some cool stuff to work on while you are home socially-distancing from others. Take a look and if you like these let us know and we'll keep doing them. Also, please share them and "Like" our page. We want to get the word out as widely as possible. Stay healthy, don't go out and wash your hands. We'll get through this together.
Although we have discontinued our paper catalogs, you can now browse our listings in an online version. View it online or download it and look through it at your leisure.

Stacy was a popular and near-ubiquitous figure on the Northern bluegrass scene for decades, playing in numerous bands, doing session work, teaching and writing instruction books. Through the years, he had played and recorded with many musicians familiar to Homespun customers: Kenny Kosek, Tony Trischka, Andy Statman and Jerry Douglas, among others. He was adept at bluegrass, klezmer, Irish, Hawaiian and ...

Jefferson Airplane alumni Jack Casady and Jorma Kaukonen were honored on a PBS broadcast on October 14 called "GRAMMY Salute to Music Legends." David Crosby made the presentation. We're proud that both Jack and Jorma have been long-time Homespun instructors. Many of our artists have taught at Jorma's renowned Fur Peace Ranch, a premier guitar camp in eastern Ohio.
